Operation HIGH FLIGHT (OHF) is on a mission to raise funds and deliver flight services to local New Hampshire recipients and beyond! OHF does so by raffling and auctioning flights in light sport and vintage warbird aircraft to raise funds on behalf of and in partnership with recipient organizations. Through donations, sponsorships, and revenue generated from flights for hire, OHF also provides flight services at no cost to the recipient organizations. Those organizations include local charities, hospitals, veterans and first responders, youth organizations as well as regional and nationally recognized charities. Our New Hampshire-based non-profit organization emphasizes our home state as its first priority and is growing its influence to extend regional and national impact by leveraging complementary relationships in Massachusetts, Maine, Tennessee, Maryland, and Texas.

OHF A-10 Flight Simulator Project

Operation HIGH FLIGHT (OHF) is on a mission! In addition to Honoring those who selflessly serve, we are passionate about our dream to Inspire the next generation of leaders. The Maryland Air National Guard (MD ANG) is helping make that dream a reality and your contributions will help carry us across the finish line! The MD ANG is donating a retired A-10 Part Task Trainer (PTT). Though only designed for switch familiarization and egress training, we’re transforming it into a functioning A-10 flight simulator!

Our plan:

  • Replace the original controls with a Thrustmaster HOTAS system ($730)

  • Swap the basic display for a VR headset with true 360° immersion ($550)

  • Power it with a high-end gaming PC running DCS World ($2300)

Once complete, this simulator will become a cornerstone of our aerospace education program for 6th–12th graders and accommodate those veterans, first responders, and children’s hospital patients who are unable to fly in our Sportster & Stearman orientation flights.

The PTT is currently near Baltimore. We’ll need two people to fly down ($600), rent a U-Haul ($500), and bring it home ($75).

Ready to help us Honor, Inspire, and Soar? Donate to the OHF A-10 Flight Simulator Project. Your contribution will get this A-10 simulator to the next level!
